On Sunday 30th September, after a long day at work, I left Primark and walked down the road for my first blogging event at The Body Shop! Have a look at their new range, what we got up to and the goodies I received.
The Frugal Frenchie
The staff were really welcoming and friendly, offering us a glass of prosecco as well as seeing if they could help us at all. With me working full time during the weekends, it’s rare that I go to The Body Shop so I had a really good look around- let me tell you, there were so many things I didn’t recognise so I was just smelling and trying on everything!
There were these body yoghurts that smelt absolutely divine (my favourite was definitely the banana one) and next to it some body creams.
Did you know that The Body Shop had their own makeup range? I seem to be completely out of the loop! One of the lovely team members tried some of the foundations on me to find my exact shade, and I saw other bloggers getting pampered with all the lip products.
I also had a look at their skincare range, something I struggle to get right. I’ve heard lots of positive things about their Vitamine E and D range, but it’s the tea tree oil products that I’ve always been a fan of. I’m sure there’s more products than they used to be and I had a great time making a mental Christmas list!
Another super exciting thing I learnt at the event was their new range! In celebration of Halloween and autumn, they have launched a limited edition vanilla and pumpkin range! This includes shower gels, hand creams, body butters and more. It’s a super sweet smell but definitely in season!
At the end of the night, we received goody bags which coincidentally, ended up being a great compliment to the two products I bought. As you can see it included some little samples, including tea tree oil (yay) and some night creams. I was also gifted a big tub of Almond Milk Body Cream, a beautiful little cruelty free makeup case and a complimentary consultation!
